Fees & Statutory Charges
Fees are processed through invoicing and payment reference controls to reduce misallocation. This page explains the fee types, when they apply, and the payment reference discipline required for correct allocation.
Fee types
The fee categories below are presented for clarity of processing. Amounts may be updated through official notices and invoicing schedules.
| Fee category | Typical timing | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Application review fee | At submission | Per invoice | Payable to initiate processing and completeness checks. Processing may not begin until funds are allocated to the correct reference. |
| License issuance fee | On approval | Per invoice | Payable prior to issuance and register publication. Conditions may apply; issuance proceeds after confirmation. |
| Annual renewal / continuation fee | Annually | Per invoice | Maintains active status and supports ongoing supervision. Non-payment may result in status change or administrative action. |
| Variation / scope change fee | When requested | Per invoice | Applies to scope expansion, change in model, or material operational amendments. A revised risk assessment and control mapping is typically required. |
| Certified extracts / confirmations | On request | Per invoice | Optional services for counterparties requiring formal documentation. Subject to verification and request completeness. |
Important: payment reference discipline
Incorrect or missing payment references are the main cause of delays. Always use the invoice reference exactly as stated. If payment is made through a Registered Agent, ensure the applicant name and invoice reference are included in the remittance details.
Payment framework (how payments are allocated)
Allocation is typically automated by reference matching. If the reference is wrong, funds can sit unallocated until the payer provides confirmation evidence.

Renewals and late payment risk
Renewal is part of maintaining active register status. Late payments can trigger status change, restrictions, or additional administrative processing.
Renewal pack discipline
Keep ownership and contact details current and respond to periodic confirmation requests promptly.
Supervisory alignment
Renewal may be linked to reporting compliance and responsiveness to supervisory requests.
Register accuracy
Status is reflected publicly; avoid preventable issues caused by non-payment or missing confirmations.
